Frank Howard

This was the first job I did for the Wall Street Journal. My father was visiting while I was working on this job. The question came up of how people most recognize Howard, with or without glasses. Since my father had seen Howard play Dan Smith, the art director, and I asked him how he remembered him. "With Glasses" was the answer. I set to worked at a furious pace and proudly dropped it of the next morning. A few minutes after I came home Dan called me and said "Where are the glasses?" I completely forgot them. I gathered a few materials and went back down to the WSJ offices and painted them in.
