Yule Be Miserable

Another cd cover in the "aniti-love song" vein. This has a Christmas theme. The hardest part about putting this piece together was finding a Santa costume in July. I love this series because of it sardonic bent. Just like actors say its way more fun to play a villain, the same holds true for painting. It's way more fun to paint a dark character than a light one. This CD came out for the holidays in 2003. Billy Bob Thorton played a similar character in "Bad Santa" as a matter of fact that movie begins on a shot very similar to this painting.
